The MACE Project provides ready-to-print 3D files, along with Fusion 360 and .STEP files—a neutral CAD format—allowing you to customize the design with a variety of other CAD software.

According to Autodesk, students at accredited middle schools, high schools, and higher education institutions (such as junior colleges or universities) are eligible for a free 1-year license.
If you are a student (or enrolling as one), are a parent of a student, know a student who qualifies, or an administrator at an educational institution, you or they can apply for the free license. We Offer .STEP Files
Don’t have access to Fuson 360, no problem you can edit a .STEP file.
A STEP file is a common file format that allows different CAD programs to work together. This means you can open and edit .STEP files using most free CAD software.
Print Directly To A 3D Printer With .STL Files
In most installations, the provided designs are ready for 3D printing, without any modifications. If you don’t have access to a 3D printer, large libraries offer free 3D printing services, or you can check local maker groups or search on meetup.com for nearby resources.
If you’re unable to access a 3D printer, feel free to contact the MACE Project for assistance; however, please consider this as a last resort. Our current focus is on providing and improving the build process and website resources. Part production is not a task the project is focused on. That said, we would rather see your project succeed than have it stall over plastic parts.
NOTE: You are free to create your own project boxes and mounting devices. You do not have to use 3D-printed parts. Wood, sheet metal, ready-made boxes are sutibale options.
